About the role
- Provide strategic vision and leadership for card services, access control, and related technologies. Direct daily operations of campus card production, distribution, and related services. Oversee departmental budget, financial controls, and vendor relationships. Lead and develop a team of professional, technical, and student employees. Partner with campus stakeholders to ensure services meet institutional needs and align with UMS goals. Drive innovation in card technology and related campus services. Position located on the University of Southern Maine's Gorham campus with hybrid work option. Work schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., occasional evenings or weekends as necessary.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. Three to five years of relevant work experience. At least two years of managing and supervising employees. Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects.
