About the role
- designing and managing courses within the Project and Operations Management portfolio
- teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses
- mentoring students and adjunct faculty members
- advancing the school’s portfolio-related strategic goals in collaboration with the Dean
- managing and teaching courses in the Project and Operations Management portfolio, as well as other selected business courses
- promoting student success through program innovation
- mentoring and advising students to support academic and professional success
- collaborating with faculty to maintain program quality and relevance
- engaging in institutional and school-specific service activities
- other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited university in Project or Operations Management or a closely related discipline
- Minimum two years of exemplary online teaching experience in higher education
- Minimum two years of experience in online course development and program management
- Experience working effectively with nontraditional adult learners
- Familiarity with current trends, best practices, and innovative practices in teaching adult learners within the discipline area
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Dedication to ongoing professional development in the discipline area
- Commitment to uphold institutional policies and guidelines regarding academic integrity, student support, and assessment processes
- Terminal degree from an accredited university in Project or Operations Management or a closely related discipline (preferred)
- Project and/or Operations Management experience, preferably in industry, within a managerial or strategic capacity (preferred)
- PMP (or equivalent) and/or PMI-ACP (or similar) (preferred)
- Proficiency with common PM and agile tools, advanced spreadsheets, and basic dashboarding (preferred)
- Experience in course development and management of both traditional and competency-based models (preferred)
