About the role
- Track active clinical affiliation agreements and monitor student (non-academic) progress during externship/practicum.
- Serve as primary liaison with site supervisors and externship instructors.
- Oversee timely and accurate externship/practicum attendance input into Campus Nexus.
- Ensure compliance and accuracy of externship paperwork and files; review externship file turnovers and clear students for externship.
- Collect and organize remaining paperwork from students, Site Supervisors, and Externship Instructors to complete compliant externship files.
- Maintain information on active clinical affiliation agreements.
- Communicate student attendance concerns to Learner Services and Education partners.
- Assist with externship file audits, as needed.
- Reach out to graduates and affiliate sites to encourage completion of external and affiliate surveys.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to professionally communicate fluently in verbal and written English.
- Ability to contribute to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Computer literacy/basic computer skills to effectively navigate and utilize the technology required for the role.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
- 1 year of experience in staffing or career services, or 1 year in medical staffing (preferred).
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams (preferred).
- Demonstrate knowledge of and carefully follow all applicable federal and state compliance requirements and regulations including those prescribed by the U.S. Department of Education, accrediting agencies, state regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
- Home office set up, quiet place to work, and ability to hard wire into high-speed internet connection.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
