💰 $105,400 - $124,000 per year
About the role
- Consultants will not be provided with a book of business; role focused on self-sourced opportunities new to the bank
- Utilize prospecting tools provided by the bank, cold calling, COI development, and ongoing community engagement
- Focus on businesses with an annual spend of $1MM+
- Conduct analysis to help streamline business expenses
- Provide expert guidance for the best card program and advise businesses on benefits and usage
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless and consistent client experience
- Travel locally, regionally, and some national travel as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Seven to nine or more years of relevant work experience
- Ability to travel (local and regional, some national)
- Well-developed sales and new business development skills, including development of sales strategies and goals and closing skills
- Business credit card sales experience
- Proven success developing COIs (Centers of Influence)
- Experience working with business customers with $10MM+ in annual revenue preferred
- Thorough knowledge of unit payment products
- Basic knowledge of the organization and its products, services and operations
- Basic knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations
- Strong marketing, negotiation and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service/relation skills with ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles related to financial transactions
- Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and applicable background checks and regulatory requirements
