About the role
- Run daily operations of center in General Manager’s absence
- Make moment-to-moment decisions to allocate time and resources to appropriate projects
- Manage and assign team members to ensure customers receive an excellent first impression and the highest quality of care
- Perform miscellaneous duties such as installing hitches and brake controllers
- Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University
- Conduct hands-on working interviews and on-the-job training
- Ensure safety compliance in work environment and use of protective equipment as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Leadership experience in any form
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work a variety of shifts
- Ability to move a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted
- Willingness to use protective clothing or gear as needed (masks, goggles, gloves, shields)
