About the role

  • Lead and manage a growing team responsible for the employee lifecycle (onboarding, career changes and offboarding)
  • Review employee profiles, perform profile filling, and collect missing documents to ensure due diligence compliance
  • Administer registration or termination of benefits in kind (such as private insurance) for new hires and leavers
  • Provide high-quality support and ensure smooth management of payroll for local and expatriate staff
  • Process monthly payroll-related changes (joiner, leaver, promotion, adjustments) and consolidate attendance records impacting payouts
  • Consolidate payroll changes to vendor and provide non-payroll benefits information (e.g., allowance in kind)
  • Review payroll and Personal Income Tax reports from vendor and request adjustments/corrections
  • Prepare salary payments for the Bank and cost allocation to Finance Team
  • Support monthly PIT declaration and filing for Local and Expatriate Secondees and annual PIT finalization
  • Distribute annual incoming summary form to staff for tax filing
  • Manage Social, Health & Unemployment Insurance (SHUI) reporting, claims (sick/maternity), reconciliations, and social insurance claim processes
  • Maintain employee data accuracy in HRIS (e.g., HiBob) and manage organizational structure, reporting lines, approval matrices, and cost centers
  • Support HR process automation (onboarding, offboarding, performance reviews, leave, overtime requests)
  • Understand and implement Employee Handbook, Internal Regulations, and Code of Conduct
  • Develop and implement new HR practices, programs and policies to meet organisational needs
  • Update HR Team on new regulations, articles and decrees relating to HR matters/Labor Code
  • Assist Legal/HR Head to review and launch Internal Regulation, Disciplinary, Employee Handbook
  • Maintain HR process documentation and produce artifacts for HR audits
  • Liaise with HRBP and hiring managers to support recruitment campaigns, issuing offers, processing contracts, and eligibility to work checks
  • Responsible for employees’ due diligence checks to comply with Group policy and provide counseling on internal policies
  • Coordinate annual health check-up program and obtain quotations from providers
  • Prepare reports for government and internal HR reports (CEO report, Payroll report, Diversity reports, cost center, payroll report, budget planning, employee cost accrual)
  • Partner with Engagement team on benefits and engagement programs and handle expatriates’ visa/work permit relocation to Vietnam
  • Perform cross-team responsibilities and assist Head on other tasks as required

Requirements

  • From 2 years of hands-on experience in HR operations, with solid exposure to payroll and compliance.
  • Detailed knowledge of Vietnam Labor Code and relevant regulations.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and willing to learn new systems/modern collaboration tools (Confluence, Slack,…).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple strict deadlines.
  • Experience using HRIS (e.g., HiBob or similar) and payroll vendors.
  • Experience in multinational or fast-growing companies.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated integrity and sound judgment, with proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information diícreetly.
  • Reliable sense of accountability and ownership in completing assigned tasks.
