Create quality motion-enhanced edits, tailored for social media
Produce vertical video for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels & Stories, and plan multi-aspect ratio workflows
Integrate basic motion elements into edits and enhance videos with creative flourishes
Subtitle the majority of edits and apply pacing, tone, audio-mixing and colour correction
Collaborate with the Studio team and contribute to ideation and creative direction
Work independently with oversight from senior team members and seek learning opportunities
Monitor and respond to current design and culture trends and industry developments
Typically work Monday–Friday office hours, with flexibility for evenings/weekends during major sporting events and tournaments
Example projects: editing Premier League archive footage, adding animated text to World Rugby interviews, vertical re-formatting and subtitling for FIFPRO, ideation for Formula E reactive race clips
Requirements
Good editing skills, with a focus on high-energy social-first content
Strong vertical editing skills and the ability to re-format content to other aspect ratios as required
Basic motion design skills
A basic understanding of audio-mixing and colour correction within Adobe CC
Good sound design skills
Strong written English and efficient subtitling skills
Good teamworking, communication and organisational skills
The ability to showcase ideas and visual direction effectively
Proficiency across Adobe CC applications and other editing/motion tools
A strong understanding of social media channels and how to engage with each audience through the content and style of edit and motion
A basic understanding of brand and how different styles suit different voices
An awareness of relevant AI tools to aid the creative and design process
A solid understanding of industry trends, with a finger on the pulse of what’s hot
