About the role
- Concepting and designing post-production paid media ads for digital channels (Facebook, Google, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube)
- Develop net-new creative and adapt existing client materials for paid platforms
- Serve as Unit Head of the Design Unit reporting to the Group Director, Performance Creative
- Provide performance design expertise and support service offering growth and hiring
- Be instrumental in staffing decisions, ways of working, and making the offering competitive
- Create proposals, sketches and mockups to kickstart new projects and win pitches
- Align digital asset creation to client style guides
- Apply paid media platform design best practices
- Present design content during client calls and collaborate with media + creative teammates
- Nurture designer growth through feedback and mentorship
- Offer new angles, best practices and practical solutions to design workflows
Requirements
- 5-10 years technical experience with paid media ad design, preferably at a performance-focused agency
- 3+ years of management experience
- Portfolio is required
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- 4 year college degree (preferably in design) or equivalent work experience
- B2C and B2B experience
- Proven management track record: ability to provide helpful feedback, nurture designer growth, and provide support
- Self-starter, problem-solver & team-player
- Effectively, autonomously + confidently presents design content during client calls
- Collaborates easily with media + creative teammates, and with clients when receiving feedback
- Offer new angles, best practices and practical solutions to our design workflows
- Openness to team and client feedback
- Be eager to push the limits within your work and your personal development
- (Nice to have) Experience using Gen AI tools for ad builds and concepting
- (Nice to have) Familiarity with Google suite
- (Nice to have) Figma, Asana, Frame.io experience
