About the role
- Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of data science workflows and pipelines
- Conduct advanced analysis on extensive structured and unstructured datasets to drive actionable insights
- Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and design stakeholders to align business goals with data-driven solutions
- Transform complex analyses into clear narratives and visualizations to inform executive and operational decision-making
- Participate in product experimentation, opportunity analyses, and metric development
- Guide data-driven initiatives impacting Turing’s vetting and fulfillment operations and scale solutions for a 3M+ global talent cloud
- Deliver iterative value in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering)
- 3-5 years of hands-on data science experience, including work with large-scale structured and unstructured data
- Demonstrated ability to excel as an individual contributor with complete ownership of projects
- Exceptional SQL and Python programming skills
- Experience with Google BigQuery and data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Sigma)
- Familiarity with experimentation, causal inference, or forecasting techniques
- Preferred: Experience in building and deploying GenAI-based tools in human-in-the-loop systems
- Preferred: Previous exposure to fulfillment, marketplace, or operations-focused teams at a high-growth company or startup
