Take full ownership of a category’s organic growth engine, driving marketplace visibility from vision to execution.
Be embedded directly within product teams, ensuring SEO, AI, and GEO innovation are hardwired into product design, engineering, and marketing.
Run large-scale experiments, A/B testing, and automation initiatives to unlock competitive edge and accelerate growth.
Leverage advanced data stacks (BigQuery, Python automation, AI-driven analytics) to transform raw data into actionable product growth insights.
Act as a thought leader internally and externally, evangelising OLX’s role as a global innovator in AI-driven organic growth.
Push the frontier, from generative AI models to large-scale semantic search, making OLX a category-defining player in AI-driven discovery.
Role can be based in Portugal, Poland, or Romania; remote work within these countries; OLX does not provide relocation support.
Requirements
Proven experience scaling organic growth for large, complex platforms (multi-million pages, multi-category products) and demonstrated experience in leading AI/SEO innovation.
5-7 Years of experience in the search engine optimization field.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Expert knowledge of SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, and familiar with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. In addition, hands-on expertise with modern SEO stacks, data pipelines, A/B testing, and AI-driven approaches (e.g., NLP, automation, ML-based insights).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights and drive business outcomes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex concepts simply and convincingly.
Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
Understanding of various digital marketing channels, including PR, web development, and content creation.
