About the role

  • Partner with the General Manager to plan and implement strategies to drive service standards and positive sales results
  • Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
  • Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state specific regulations and company SOPs
  • Provide coaching, training, and development to the team focused on company service standards and accountability
  • Monitor and maintain store inventory and assist in managing labor budget to meet business needs
  • Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations when on duty
  • Maintain professional working relationships with business partners and strict confidentiality and compliance
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management and be available after hours for emergency situations
  • Physical responsibilities: move throughout facility, manipulate objects up to 50 lbs, ascend/descend steps, crouch/stoop/kneel, occasional seated work

Requirements

  • Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus
  • Prior cash handling experience
  • Must possess the ability to train, develop and evaluate a team of 40+ employees
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism; ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Able to communicate in conversational English to work effectively with customers and team members
  • Ability to operate electronic equipment (computer, scanner, printer, etc.), comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devices
  • Proven ability to analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions to inform policies and procedures
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass an MVR background check (delivery locations only)
  • Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background check
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
  • Must be able to relate to and work with patrons of different ages, abilities, and patrons that at times are experiencing emotional distress, or displaying a hostile attitude
