QA Automation Engineer

• As a member of Truckstop's Research, Operational Upgrades, & Transformation Engineering (ROUTE) team, the Process Automation Engineer will accelerate operational excellence by developing innovative AI-powered solutions and custom automation workflows and bridging the gap between standard product capabilities and specialized business requirements for the financial division
• Design and implement AI-powered automation workflows using prompt engineering techniques and agentic AI systems
• Build scalable business applications and custom solutions that address specialized needs not covered by standard product offerings
• Collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders to understand operational processes across multiple business units
• Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications for automation solutions
• Create intuitive user experiences for internal tools and automate manual processes to improve operational efficiency
• Research and prototype emerging AI technologies, particularly in process automation and workflow optimization
• Integrate consumer large language models (Google Gemini, Claude, OpenAI) into business process automation contexts
• Design and implement serverless compute solutions (AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, etc.) and integrate with APIs to support automation workflows
• Implement software engineering best practices including version control, CI/CD pipelines, code review processes, and automated testing for scalable, maintainable systems
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting systems using SQL, Python, and cloud infrastructure
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders about progress and priorities
