About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As a Senior Elixir Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building the critical infrastructure to process transactions.
- Developing internal automation tools to streamline payments.
- Implementing the underlying functionality for features that our clients love.
- Enhancing existing functionality and solving new problems as we continue to scale and grow.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience, with significant hands-on experience in Elixir-based systems
- Hands on experience with Elixir, Phoenix, and Postgres
- Strong understanding of functional programming and event-driven architectures
- Deep functional knowledge or hands on experience building APIs, CQRS, PubSub
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud services a plus
- Proactively influence team communication and team dynamics to accomplish the tactical mission of the squad
- Collaborates with others across teams to remove impediments and blockers
- Strong debugging and diagnostic skills
- Able to articulate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
- Skilled at clearly documenting design and concept ideas
- Skilled at providing and receiving feedback at all levels across the organization.
