About the role
- Report into the Regional Manager
- Lead the Nottingham counter and your team from the front, achieving personal and team sales targets
- Improve product knowledge and stay up to date with beauty trends
- Conduct customer appointments and elevate artistry
- Demonstrate a customer-centric approach
- Manage daily, monthly and quarterly running of the counter and create business plans
- Complete and distribute rotas; log payroll, sickness, holidays, 121 notes, ROCs and RTW checks in HR system
- Oversee inventory checks, stock counts and visual merchandising
- Follow health and safety procedures accurately
- Use retail management and team meetings to feedback on counter performance
- Ensure team meets business objectives, targets and KPIs; address underperformance and escalate as needed
- Motivate and develop the team using education and training resources; conduct weekly 121s and monthly reviews
- Independently address performance, attendance or conduct issues using appropriate procedures
