About the role

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in high-growth applications and markets across the Americas
  • Develop account acquisition strategies and execute targeted outreach campaigns
  • Recruit and enable channel partners; support partner training and joint pursuit strategies
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for hardware, software, warranties, and services
  • Maintain full active pipeline with accurate CRM forecasting
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales & Account Manager to align tactical initiatives
  • Represent Applanix at trade shows, industry events, and customer demonstrations
  • Monitor competitive activity and provide market intelligence to guide product positioning
  • Create and deliver presentations communicating Applanix value proposition
  • Performance objectives: build pipeline, secure 3–5 strategic accounts, establish channels, achieve double-digit growth and expand into new market segments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Geomatics, or related technical field
  • 2–4 years’ sales or business development experience with a demonstrated track record in new business acquisition
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Experience working with or developing channel partners is an asset
  • Confident in technical solution selling; geospatial industry experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to travel 25–30% within the Americas
  • Hunter mindset and proactive outreach for new business development
