About the role
- Lead and manage operations of the Sydney Metro M1 line (North West to Bankstown)
- Provide leadership, oversight and management of operations and performance
- Work collaboratively with NRT and Metro Trains Sydney to ensure safe, reliable metro services
- Lead integrated cross-functional team focused on delivery, contract management, customer experience, maintenance and asset lifecycle management
- Create and maintain collaborative relationships with delivery partner senior leadership teams
- Ensure operations team supports existing and future metro lines
- Hybrid work: mix work-from-home with office-based days in George St office
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Management, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience in railway operations
- Strategic 50-year commercial mindset with big picture thinking
- Proven executive level leadership and management
- Experience working with PPPs, contract management, operational readiness, customer experience, maintenance and asset lifecycle management
