About the role
- Report to the Bridge Works Manager within our Road Maintenance & Resilience division and will be based at our office in Wagga Wagga.
- Lead and deliver Bridge projects across the network, ensuring safe, efficient planning and execution meeting legislative, client, and customer requirements.
- Lead multi-disciplinary site teams to work safely, collaboratively, and with a strong customer focus.
- Drive innovation, looking for ways to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and resourcing methods.
- Take the lead in administering and delivering contracts, acting as the representative on selected agreements.
- Temporary Full Time hybrid role based in Wagga Wagga for up to 12 months; travel will be required.
Requirements
- Excellent practical delivery experience managing direct control and contract resources that will guide you and our teams to deliver and manage risks.
- Strong communicator and influential team player, capable of building key relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Four-year civil/structural engineering degree from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience in program preparation and budgeting for bridge and/or road construction and maintenance engineering works, as well as experience in contract management including documentation, tendering procedures, and contract administration.
