About the role
- TNS expands its North America go-to-market for Payments Market and seeks an Account Executive to drive new logo sales of merchant enablement and connectivity solutions.
- Responsibilities include sales execution, lead generation, qualify and close opportunities, develop GTM strategies, and coordinate with leadership to achieve quotas.
- Lead preparation of formal sales proposals, RFI/RFP/Tender responses and contract negotiations; maintain accurate forecasts using Salesforce.com.
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners and clients; identify new opportunities through networking and market research.
- Achieve and exceed quotas and MBOs; contribute to the strategic GTM plan and market positioning.
- Travel up to 30% within North America; remote/virtual options available.
Requirements
- Significant sales experience and a proven track record of success selling payment orientated solutions into new customers
- Dynamic personality, high-energy with an entrepreneurial attitude
- Excellent listening and consultative skills with a strong ability to communicate across a range of diverse cultures and corporate levels, including Executive Management (C-level)
- Demonstrated success and over achievement in value proposition selling and experience of market share growth
- Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics to develop and implement a sales plan to meet goals
- Ability to learn new product knowledge rapidly
- Well-developed negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple customer opportunities simultaneously
- Well established network and understanding of the SD-WAN market
- Ability to travel up to 30%
