About the role
- Review and moderate user-generated social media content to ensure it aligns with community guidelines
- Moderate traumatic, sensitive, and potentially offensive content with resilience
- Remove inappropriate content and help maintain a positive online environment
- Provide feedback to users and escalate issues when necessary
- Monitor trends and report on content moderation metrics
- Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and support departments to resolve issues
- Interact with people from diverse backgrounds in a fast-paced onsite facility
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to type at least 25 words per minute
- Comfortable with desktop computer systems and general knowledge of Windows-based systems
- Customer service and/or sales experience preferred
- College degree preferred but not required
- Available to work various shifts
- Predictable and reliable attendance
- Comfortable reviewing traumatic, sensitive, and potentially offensive internet content
- Strong spelling, grammar, and reading skills
- Strong emotional intelligence, resilience, communication, collaboration, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
