About the role
- Operate parking lot booth, take payments, and assist guests entering and exiting the property
- Perform cash transactions with accuracy and precision
- Keep cash and tickets organized; prepare cash control/summary sheets
- Report overages and shortages; perform shift/daily reconciliation of receipts, cash, and charges
- Perform revenue drops following location procedures and secure monies in deposit bags
- Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work area in and around the cashier’s booth
- Clean and organize booth interior and windows; maintain signage and equipment
- Walk lot to pick up garbage and change bags in cans; ensure supplies are organized
- Greet guests courteously; resolve customer complaints; use respectful communication
- Issue and collect visitor parking tickets; match ticket forms when originals are missing
- Report odd occurrences, incidents, accidents, or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
- Adhere to company policies, dress code, punctuality, and timecard procedures
- Answer telephone promptly and courteously when required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to verbally communicate with guests
- Ability to learn quickly and use sound decision making in fast-paced environments
- At least 18 years of age
- Basic math skills
- Experience with cash handling is an asset
- Previous customer service experience, preferred
