Lead motion and visual approaches for programs and initiatives across brand marketing, growth marketing, and product marketing
Combine deep motion graphics experience with imagination to convert abstract marketing briefs into creative visual stories
Execute sophisticated visuals across a variety of mediums and deliverables
Lead development of scalable visual approaches: templates, tools, and guidance
Directly support the Creative Director and cross-functional leaders and partners; update design roadmaps
Generate thoughtful ideas, compelling narratives, and scalable concepts
Produce refined, professional, best-in-class branded visuals for digital, web banners, social media, email marketing, animation, and landing pages
Execute design phases from sketching, refining prototypes, to final production
Lead creative brainstorms and critiques and ensure briefs meet business goals and creative standards
Manage collaboration with Creative, Marketing, and Product departments
Define, establish, and explain design standards and provide insights on animation and design trends
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or Advertising with relevant formal training
At least 5-8 years of working experience on a professional creative team
Firsthand experience producing digital assets, both static and animated (motion graphics, animation, landing pages, web banners, social media posts, email marketing)
Excellent grasp of Motion Graphics, Typography, and basic Design Theory (hierarchy, rhythm, negative space, scale, balance, conversion performance theory, color theory)
Relevant knowledge of both classic and contemporary trends in typography, photography, illustration, motion graphics, video
Strong background with metrics-driven creative (performance marketing, paid social, digital banners, direct response advertising design)
Online portfolio demonstrating a solutions-based approach with several examples of firsthand digital assets
Advanced knowledge of motion design and relevant software (Figma, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects)
Strong pre-visualization skills (wireframes, motion theory) and skills executing in digital mediums (web, video, motion graphics)
Understanding of CSS, Javascript, HTML and familiarity and comfort working within UX constraints
Experience mentoring or inspiring junior creatives
Agency and in-house experience, digital marketing background, or startup experience are a plus
