Lead the preparation and delivery of board materials and trustee reporting with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and transparency.
Oversee and coordinate all SEC regulatory filings, ensuring strict compliance with federal requirements.
Review, approve, and monitor fund expense payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
Act as a primary liaison with trust managers and boards of trustees, fostering strong communication and governance support.
Develop, mentor, and manage administrative staff, building leadership pipelines and succession readiness.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen client servicing and support for mutual fund and ETF products.
Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and service quality.
Provide strategic oversight of controls, policies and procedures to ensure operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance across the fund administration department.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
Advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CFA) preferred.
15+ years of progressive experience in fund administration at a large mutual fund or ETF service provider.
Extensive experience in mutual fund/ETF client servicing and trust administration.
Strong accounting background with deep understanding of derivatives (e.g. swaps, futures, options, forward currency contracts).
Demonstrated success in managing SEC filings, compliance reporting, and board materials.
Proven leadership and team management skills, with ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.
