About the role
- Direct, lead, and supervise the Outside Sales function
- Develop, implement and execute a sales/marketing plan
- Determine product consumption and customer-buying motivators
- Conduct SWOT analyses of customer buying motivation
- Establish benchmarks for participation and develop a marketing plan
- Develop sales plans in concert with sales personnel
- Capture competitive pricing data and profile pricing practices
- Coordinate operating, credit activities and monitor goals and objectives
- Make sales calls with each salesperson and provide training as required
- Assist regional and corporate credit managers in improving turnover of receivables.
Requirements
- 4 year degree (or equivalent experience)
- Computer literate
- 3-5 years outside sales Experience
- Experience in TQM, ISO9000
- Must be acquainted with finance for non-financial managers
- Strategic selling and time management
- Safety Mindset.
- Completion/working towards MGA Metallurgy training and/or experience (Preferred)
- Leadership and team building experience (Preferred)
- Training in strategic planning and motivation (Preferred)
- 1-2 years operations (Preferred)
- 1-2 years inside sales (Preferred)
