About the role
- Account Director / Business Development Manager Location: Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham.
You’ll lead the charge in identifying, engaging, and bringing on board new clients across a range of industries in the Midlands and part of the North.
Take charge of accounts post-sale to deepen relationships, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and ensure long-term success
Use your existing network and market understanding to help shape and expand our presence.
Work closely with senior stakeholders, offering a consultative approach rather than a one-size-fits-all pitch.
Contribute insights to our wider sales and marketing strategy, feeding back what you’re hearing from the market.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience: You’ve spent at least 5 years in B2B sales, ideally selling to enterprise clients in the UK market.
Portfolio builder: You know how to build a book of business from the ground up and have done it before.
Well-connected: You already have a solid network within the landscape and are comfortable opening doors.
Commercially astute: You think strategically, ask the right questions, and are focused on long-term value.
Technically savvy: You are comfortable with sales tech to help maximise your effectiveness.
Self-starter: You work with autonomy, and make things happen.
