Provide Helpdesk Support for IT requests/issues reported via tickets, emails, walk-ins, Teams and telephone, and handle escalations from 1st level support.
Administration of Active Directory domain, servers and applications running on them.
Keep software and server infrastructure up to date through patching, updating, upgrading and replacing.
Provide end-user trainings and orientation on the IT resources provided.
Requirements
Create and maintain documentation in IT Knowledgebase.
Actively contribute to optimize IT processes.
Initiate IT Purchase requests and keep the IT Inventory up to date.
Occasional travel to Thorlabs locations and weekend work required.
Create and maintain excellent relations with technology vendors and suppliers.
Upskill to new technologies that the company can benefit from.
