About the role
- Support the efficient and effective utilization of financial systems to meet financial reporting, analysis, and operational needs.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial data governance and strategy.
- Execute and support finance data governance strategies, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and security of financial data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, Data, Audit, IT, and Operations) to gather and prioritize changes to master data.
- Collect and monitor finance data governance metrics and performance.
- Support integration of various financial systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow between systems and modules.
- Provide advanced system training and support to end-users; act as subject matter expert for data management system functionalities and troubleshooting.
- Serve as liaison between finance and IT teams; translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements with IT teams and vendors to ensure smooth transitions.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Finance, Information Systems or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, IT or a related field and/or commensurate experience.
- Experience with master data management configuration, customization, and administration.
- Experience supporting finance data governance strategies and monitoring governance metrics.
- Experience with financial systems integration and data integration processes.
- Knowledge of Information Systems and Information Technology Management.
- Experience with Financial Process Improvement and Financial Analysis.
- Familiarity with Accounting Software and Tools, Financial IT Software, and IT Controls.
- Experience with Audit & Compliance and strong documentation skills.
- Stakeholder management and ability to provide advanced system training and end-user support.
