About the role
- Own and drive product requirements and consolidate/deliver product roadmaps focused on innovation, optimization, and modernization
- Synthesize technologies and capabilities into scalable products and prioritize features, architectural improvements, and operational excellence
- Develop vision documents, define business requirements, and measure launch and post-launch performance
- Serve as the customer voice for engineering teams, prioritize the product backlog based on customer and business value, and use metrics to monitor progress
- Partner closely with development teams and UX to execute roadmaps and deliver efficiently
- Demonstrate leadership by owning product lines or small product families, ensuring performance and reliability, and indirectly leading a small team of product managers
- Socialize and align cross-functional stakeholders to strategy, vision, and roadmap
- Act as a thought leader externally by writing, blogging, and speaking at events
Requirements
- Expert-level Product Management Professional
- Bachelor's degree in business or computer science preferred or equivalent experience
- Typically, 6+ years of Product Management experience
- Experience in fintech, with previous experience in creating tax & accounting SaaS products strongly preferred
- Experience delivering projects utilizing AI, ML, Gen AI, RPA, and other tech is strongly preferred
- Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed environments to drive product delivery or key project outcomes
- Proven high-energy, highly collaborative leadership approach
- Autonomy, judgment, influence, and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Expert in every facet of the Product lifecycle and core tenants of Product Management
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to develop vision documents, business requirements, and post-launch measurement
- Effective communicator who projects confidence and communicates concisely and clearly to management, peers, customers, and partners
