Schedule and perform on-site maintenance, repair and installation on Cytomat Products, Digital Science and Automation Solutions (DSAS) products, and 3rd party equipment
Perform on-site training relative to system service, maintenance, and basic operation
Keep track and maintain local spare parts inventory
Ensure all documentation related to in-house and on-site support activity is completed and submitted accurately and on time (Field Service Reports, Service Work Orders, Quotes)
Diagnose problems over the phone and/or using remote software; follow up with on-site work or dispatch third-party service providers where necessary
Follow up to ensure problems were resolved to the customer’s happiness
Actively monitor status of contract, warranty and time-and-material installed customers
Requirements
Technology diploma in Mechatronics, Electro-mechanical engineering, Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent
Minimum 5 years practical experience in field service or solving software and lab equipment
Validated experience with automation, robots, and/or device instrumentation
System-level diagnostic skills using inquiries, observations, system schematics & documentation, software tools, and communications / electrical diagnostic aids
Multi-disciplinary technical skills; excellent with software, electrical, and mechanical systems
Proficient in computer use, skilled in serial communications cabling, and familiar with basic programming concepts
Knowledge of wiring and pneumatics (schematics, PLCs, power panels)
Mechanical systems knowledge (CAD drawings, fasteners)
Working proficiency of Momentum software features and operations is a plus
Excellent interpersonal communication skills; professional working proficiency in English; additional languages advantageous
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to meet targets and work independently in a quick-paced environment
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance; will work with hazardous/toxic materials
