Work on Signal Processing solutions for audio products and contribute to all phases of the development process – from idea and concept to design as well as implementation, testing and verification
Specify, design, simulate, implement, and tests real time audio signal processing algorithms for a various chipset and work with a mixture of associated components like microphones, speakers, head/earphones and other related peripherals
Work as part of a cross-functional development team to design and implement cutting edge audio products and technologies
Collaborate closely with colleagues in other time zones and work with exciting techniques relevant in audio processing
Participate in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) product development and work in sprints
Evaluate and select hardware solutions and optimize for MIPS, RAM and power consumption
Requirements
bachelor’s or master´s degree in engineering
preferably 5+ years of experience from a similar job
passionate about Signal Processing and interested in audio products, algorithm development and related simulations in Matlab, Python, C++ environments
experience with implementation on different DSPs or microprocessors, and with variation in MIPS, RAM and power consumption depending on the application
able to evaluate/select between different HW solutions (DSPs, ARMs, memory, other relevant peripherals) for the application
knowledge and theoretical understanding of classic Signal Processing topics such as: FIR and IIR Filter Design, Dynamics, Voice Activity Detection, Codecs, Acoustic Echo Cancellation, Noise Reduction, Adaptive Filters, Beamforming, Neural Networks, Machine Learning, Psycho Acoustics and similar
strong in C/C++, and familiar with intrinsics or other microprocessor specific programming for optimization purposes
experience with testing and verification in both large and small systems and the use of various measuring tools within Signal Processing and audio
knowledgeable about microphones, speakers, head/earphones as well as other related hardware such as Codecs, ADC/DAC’s, and other discrete HW components
broad understanding of audio industry standards and organizations (AES, IEEE, etc.)
able and motivated to work in cross-functional teams
speak and write English and preferably also Danish
great team player who loves to share your knowledge
