About the role
- Lead end-to-end product strategy and execution for insurance claims and collections technology
- Drive operational efficiency, optimize claims handling workflows, and improve collections and recovery rates
- Lead customer research efforts to understand property managers’ claim servicing needs
- Develop and maintain roadmap for claims and collections balancing business impact, technical feasibility, and customer needs
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and data teams to define requirements and oversee development
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize integration opportunities with 3rd party vendors
- Monitor claims efficiency and collections performance; track key metrics and iterate based on data-driven insights
- Act as subject matter expert on claims and collections and provide internal/external thought leadership
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product management with demonstrable ownership of workflow/decisioning products in P&C insurance, fintech lending, or payments
- Familiarity with insurance core systems, claims rules engines, consumer-debt collections, and state/federal compliance frameworks
- Experience collaborating with engineers and data scientists
- Working knowledge of SQL and analytics tools
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts
- Proven track record of launching products that deliver measurable operational lift
- Strong prioritization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Bonus: Prior ownership of insurance claims or collections product lines
- Bonus: Experience integrating with payment processors or collections vendors
- Bonus: Fintech or PropTech background
