About the role
- Manage the product roadmap, implementation process, and data fidelity of several internal Performance Marketing tools
- Build, refine, and maintain product roadmap for a suite of Performance Marketing tools
- Write and approve technical user stories for software engineers; coordinate efforts between different groups to execute roadmap strategy
- Collaborate with software engineers to execute improvements to existing processes and tools and create new ones
- Ensure existing media analytics tools, platforms, processes, and dashboards deliver value; write SQL and run Python and/or Spark scripts to verify data quality and uncover bugs
- Create Tableau dashboards and Airtable processes to support media planning and automate workflows
- Facilitate work with UX/UI teams on requirements for wireframes and design elements; translate functional requirements to software engineers
Requirements
- 5+ years of related work experience in Data Engineering/Analytics, Ad Tech/Media Analytics, or technical Product Management
- An understanding of the fundamentals of statistics
- Must have experience with SQL such as joining tables, creating temporary views, nested queries, etc.
- Must have experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
- Must have experience with workflow tracking tools such as Airtable or comparable tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines
- Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and comfortable with QA to catch data quality issues/bugs
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a relevant subject area, such as Computer Science or Business Analytics or comparable experience
- Preferred: Knowledge of ad platforms, including DMPs, Google Ads, Meta, Innovid, and DSPs (DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon)
- Preferred: Familiarity with the Python programming language or the Spark framework
- Preferred: Familiarity with Databricks and AWS
- Preferred: Knowledge of digital ad serving, tracking, and implementation
