About the role
- Define and drive strategy, planning, and execution oversight for a portfolio of internal technology products on ServiceNow
- Own vision and value proposition for business enablement products and define multi-year roadmaps
- Develop product requirement documents (PRDs) and prioritize features
- Oversee full product lifecycle from ideation, discovery, development, launch, to sustainment
- Collaborate with agile delivery teams, Product Owners, engineering, architecture, and PMO to ensure product quality and timely execution
- Build trusted relationships with business partners, serve as primary point of contact for product direction and prioritization
- Facilitate alignment between enterprise technology and business partners and identify external partnership opportunities
- Maintain deep understanding of competitive landscape, conduct analyses, and present to executives
- Lead or support product pilots and beta programs
- Partner on 5-year planning and annual operating budgets; manage product budgets and resource forecasts
- Mentor product managers, product owners, and analysts and contribute to product management discipline maturity
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing complex products within a large, multi-national corporation
- 5+ years of implementing out-of-box capabilities or building custom solutions on the ServiceNow platform
- Demonstrated ability to define multi-year product strategies and roadmaps
- Experience acting as a strategic thought partner to business stakeholders and translating vision into executable plans
- Strong understanding of product positioning, value proposition design, and internal product marketing practices
- Deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and products, including custom application development and integrations
- Experience implementing and scaling ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, SecOps)
- Hands-on experience overseeing the full product lifecycle, from ideation through sustainment
- Proven ability to prioritize features based on value, feasibility, and dependencies
- Strong working knowledge of agile product delivery, including backlog management, sprint planning, and value delivery tracking
- Experience partnering with engineering, architecture, and delivery teams
- Demonstrated experience with agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and tools (e.g., Jira, ADO)
- Familiarity with ITIL principles and working knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, and system performance tracking
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and experience representing product teams with executive stakeholders
- Experience managing product budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation
- Track record of mentoring product managers, senior product owners, or analysts
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field, and/or equivalent work experience
- Preference for Master’s or advanced degree
