About the role

  • Provide exceptional support and customer service to an assigned caseload of Employer Groups (100–499 lives)
  • Manage new case activity, renewals, and amendments
  • Identify and promote sale of additional lines of coverage or plan improvements and promote new product offerings
  • Recommend plan changes and highlight product features in coordination with assigned Sales Representative
  • Facilitate enrollment and re-enrollment processes; conduct enrollment meetings and attend benefit fairs as needed
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with Sales Representatives, Brokers, Producers, Employer Groups, Policyholders, and vendors
  • Collaborate internally and externally to resolve issues, negotiate professionally, and achieve best outcomes
  • Demonstrate core company values through timely communication, problem resolution, and professional negotiation

Requirements

  • To be considered for this role you must live in the NE region
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Life and Disability insurance license for all states within office’s assigned territory required (must be obtained within 6 months of hire and renewed per continuing education and renewal requirements)
  • Experience with underwriting guidelines is preferred
  • Experience and knowledge with Group Employee Benefits Products is preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM is preferred
  • Proven ability to cultivate meaningful, effective business relationships
  • Exceptional customer service skills; willingness to go above and beyond
  • Problem solving, decision making, and analytical thinking
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Travel may be required based on role, assigned caseload and territory
  • Criminal background investigation and employment/education/licensing verification required; must be bondable
