About the role

  • Use a variety of tools and techniques to develop long term roadmaps and nearer term execution plans coordinated across teams
  • Gather information from across the organization and turn complex topics into actionable work for delivery teams
  • Expertly translate detailed plans and daily work into communication material suitable for executive audiences
  • Gain detailed understanding of the program and delivery teams’ work so that you can anticipate and manage risks and issues
  • Collaborate with team leaders and people managers to ensure team staff are well-aligned to the work
  • Be comfortable with performing project manager, product owner, and/or scrum master functions as needed to support delivery team operations
  • Develop and maintain program budget

Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED required; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of project and program management experience demonstrating successful management of large, complex scopes of work
  • Prior experience in the financial services industry and actuarial function is beneficial
  • Ability to adapt, be flexible, and learn quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Expert in establishing strong relationships with leadership and fostering collaboration throughout the organization leveraging influence over authority
  • Excellent team player, able to work with virtual cross-functional teams
