About the role
- Use a variety of tools and techniques to develop long term roadmaps and nearer term execution plans coordinated across teams
- Gather information from across the organization and turn complex topics into actionable work for delivery teams
- Expertly translate detailed plans and daily work into communication material suitable for executive audiences
- Gain detailed understanding of the program and delivery teams’ work so that you can anticipate and manage risks and issues
- Collaborate with team leaders and people managers to ensure team staff are well-aligned to the work
- Be comfortable with performing project manager, product owner, and/or scrum master functions as needed to support delivery team operations
- Develop and maintain program budget
Requirements
- HS diploma or GED required; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of project and program management experience demonstrating successful management of large, complex scopes of work
- Prior experience in the financial services industry and actuarial function is beneficial
- Ability to adapt, be flexible, and learn quickly in a dynamic environment
- Expert in establishing strong relationships with leadership and fostering collaboration throughout the organization leveraging influence over authority
- Excellent team player, able to work with virtual cross-functional teams
