About the role
- Manage the outbound flow of all customer orders and maximize total sales volumes across divisions and brands.
- Work directly with Sales, Operations and Finance teams to coordinate inventory allocation to sales orders and support In-House teams.
- Support the Sales Department across the order cycle from B2B and B2C order placement through shipping.
- Day-to-day management of Operations, In-House and multi-brand production teams; lead, train, and mentor staff.
- Supervise and review preparation of the monthly sales outlook in collaboration with sales and in-house teams.
- Review and monitor warehouse workload, inbound and order flow to optimize allocation and pick run processes.
- Provide information to sales to facilitate/optimize the order release process and monitor retailer routing manual compliance.
- Oversee and manage the order book of all brands from initial data entry (B2B, EDI) to order completion; maintain data accuracy.
- Ensure product setup accuracy (line plan, NuOrder, AP21) and maintain B2B/NuOrder data and sales tools.
- Optimize allocation of stock and pick run processes; monitor inventory level, ageing, and stock transfers.
- Work with demand planning and shipping teams to improve processes and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with in-house, sales management and finance to release orders timely to maximize order flow and minimize attrition.
- Maintain a clean order book and cancel orders when required.
- Manage ERP/B2B systems, coordinate with software providers (AP21, ShipExec, SPS, OpenText) and deliver system trainings.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting, establish or refine operational systems and processes, and supervise in-house quality control.
- Coordinate receipt of samples, create sample orders, and facilitate pulling sample orders.
- Report to the VP Finance & Operations and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive operations or supply chain experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role.
- Experience in Wholesale consumer goods distribution strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in high-volume warehousing, logistics, and fulfillment environments (including DTC and wholesale).
- Strong leadership and team development skills; experience managing cross-functional teams (warehouse, logistics, customer service, etc.).
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners
- Collaborative leadership style with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in ERP, EDI and WMS systems.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Experience implementing or optimizing operational systems and processes.
- Ability to oversee demand planning, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and collaborative environment.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and drive continuous improvement in operations.
