About the role

  • The School Social Work Support Specialist will work closely with Community and Youth Collaborative Institute (CAYCI) faculty and staff to support school-based projects, including research, evaluation, and outreach initiatives that advance school social work practice and student success.
  • This position will assist with implementation and coordination of school social work partnership activities, including efforts to support student "persisters" in dropout recovery settings, provide administrative and project management support to CAYCI faculty and staff, and contribute to ongoing CAYCI data collection and dissemination efforts such as the CAYCI School Experience Surveys (CAYCI-SES).
  • Primary Responsibilities: Collaborate with faculty and CAYCI staff on initiatives supporting student retention and re-engagement in alternative and dropout recovery school settings.
  • Assist with administrative and logistical tasks related to school social work partnership projects, including scheduling, communication, resource development, and tracking project milestones.
  • Support survey administration, data entry, and basic analysis related to the CAYCI School Experience Surveys and other related assessments.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, summary reports, and materials for school and community partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of relevant experience required
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred
