Financial Planning and Analysis

• Provide highly specialized investment-related services to carbon projects in the Natural Climate Solutions Accelerator
• Conduct risk analyses, due diligence, investment readiness training, and preparation of investment materials for the Global Carbon Markets team and BUs working with them
• Administer and maintain finance activities in accordance with TNC policies and procedures

• Provides strategic oversight and technical expertise, secures philanthropic, state, and federal funding, and builds strong partnerships with external organizations, foundations, and academia.

Corporate Strategy Advisor

• Support Regional Foodscapes in Development of Place-Based Market Strategies
• Lead the market strategy design process for priority Foodscape teams.
• Provide consulting and advisory support to Foodscapes teams on business and financial matters including value creation, cost modeling, market analysis, business model design, and supply chain partnerships.
• Develop and implement frameworks, tools, and processes that support regional teams in identifying, scoping, evaluating and prioritizing market interventions to drive progress toward TNC’s 2030 goals
• Support teams’ capital mobilization goals by identifying or developing early-stage investable opportunities. This includes conducting diligence on business/investment strategies, running initial validation of financial viability, and identifying internal or external partners to develop technical business cases, fundraising plans, or deal structures.
• Persuasively communicate complex finance and market concepts to internal and external stakeholders with varying backgrounds, including TNC leaders, regional and country staff, local communities and external experts.
• Manage Market Strategy for Global Foodscapes Portfolio
• Contribute to building and maintaining a pipeline of market-based projects for Foodscapes in support of key conservation priorities
• Scope opportunities to scale validated solutions within existing Foodscapes to other geographies or landscape-scale initiatives.

Strategy Manager, Foodscapes & Markets

• Coordinate efforts to design and implement the Conservation Trust Fund: Fondo Biocorredor Amazónico for TNC-supported programs, such as the conservation fund for the Amazon Biocorridor program.
• Facilitate meetings with government and other stakeholders on financial mechanisms under development.
• Prepare financial events, analyses, and alerts regarding significant financial occurrences within the country, including shifts in economic policies, financial regulations, and market trends.
• Compile input from various partners on the design of the Conservation Trust Fund: Fondo Biocorredor Amazónico to compose final descriptive documents for approval.
• Prepare English and Spanish language texts on the Conservation Trust Fund: Fondo Biocorredor Amazónico under development for TNC internal and external partner approval processes.

Finance For Conservation Specialist

Marketing

• The Marketing Specialist manages and implements tactics in an approved strategic marketing plan.
• The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting overall marketing objectives for the Midwest division, focused on Michigan.
• Collaborates with the Associate Director to manage and implement marketing projects and initiatives.
• Plans, develops, and manages content for print and digital channels including social media, email, website, Google, newsletters, annual reports, fact sheets, and other print products.
• Works closely with department staff, field offices, program consultants, and vendors to manage all phases of projects.
• May work within budgets to minimize expenses, maximize revenue, and meet quality control standards.
• Uses software systems to track and analyze program results, report findings, and work with senior marketing managers to implement strategic recommendations.

Marketing Specialist

• Responsible for oversight, planning, and implementation of fundraising strategies and plans designed to raise funds for conservation priorities from corporations and their foundations.
• Serve as relationship manager for key corporate prospects and work across functions to engage corporations.
• Monitor TNC’s Principal Gift corporate portfolio of the top 30-50 accounts across the organization.
