About the role
- Lead and oversee financial strategy and operations for an internationally expanding company
- Analyze financial data and forecast short- and long-term cash flows
- Develop and monitor annual budgets aligned with corporate objectives
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on business strategy and provide financial insights and proposals
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, financing needs and supervise receivables/payables management
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions and oversee credit lines, factoring and financial instruments
- Design costing models per product, client, or distribution channel and analyze gross/net profit margins
- Evaluate financial viability of projects, perform ROI/payback/sensitivity analysis and prepare financial sections for grants
- Develop and implement internal audit procedures, financial and operational controls and monitor compliance
- Report directly to the CEO and/or Board on key financial and compliance risks
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chief Financial Officer or senior finance leader
- Strong background in finance, accounting, and business planning
- Preferably experience in the food production or export sector
- Strategic thinker with financial modeling and forecasting skills
- Experience managing cash flow, working capital, banking relationships and financing instruments
- Experience in costing, profitability analysis, pricing strategy, ROI and sensitivity analysis
- Knowledge of internal audit, financial controls and compliance frameworks
- Ability to prepare financial sections for grants and development incentives
- Experience collaborating with executive teams and reporting to CEO/Board
