About the role
- Head up workstreams to design, develop, test and install complex applications software spanning server, client and web components
- Guide connections between application architects and developers to ensure design requirements and ROI
- Write complex design, coding and testing documentation to create technical products that meet client expectations
- Perform development, domain, application design, web service and database methodologies and best practices
- Serve as technical consultant to senior management for complex projects, modifying existing apps and designing new modules/components
- Travel as needed (0-10%)
Requirements
- Six or more years of application, web and product design and support experience across the development life cycle
- Experience preferred working with Medicaid and Medicare technologies
- Strong foundation in software and product design methodologies, programming languages, operating systems, web development and application implementation
- Expertise in application development policies and procedures; analyzing costing and budgets to determine financial feasibility
- Skilled designer and programmer effective across programming languages and environments
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills to work with developers, clients and leadership
