About the role
- Support the development of mechanical drawings, piping & instrumentation diagrams, specifications, and documentation for piping and process equipment
- Participate in field verification and site walkdowns to gather data and validate existing conditions
- Help perform basic calculations related to fluid flow, pressure drop, and mechanical stress
- Support the review of vendor submittals and technical documentation for compliance with project standards
- Contribute to design and layout of process piping systems, equipment integration, and mechanical infrastructure at client site
- Work directly at client location as part of Foth’s Process Design Team, applying industry tools and practices to real engineering challenges
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Experience using one of the following 3D modeling programs: Plant 3D, AutoCAD MEP, Revit, Inventor, SolidEdge, or Solidworks
- Ability to work directly at one of Foth’s client locations (onsite in Mehoopany, PA)
- Availability for Summer 2026 internship
