Engineer

• Provide hands-on technical engineering for solid waste facilities

HVAC/Utilities Engineer

Software Engineer

• Source, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and services for construction and industrial projects
• Partner with project managers, estimators, and construction leaders to align on procurement needs
• Lead commercial negotiations to optimize cost, schedule, and quality
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier qualification documentation
• Manage changes in scope, pricing updates, and delivery adjustments
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve procurement-related issues

Engineering Buyer

Accounting Manager

• Own assigned accounting areas such as accruals and prepaids and provide analysis of other balance sheet accounts
• Prepare standard monthly and annual journal entries and perform general ledger account reconciliations
• Participate in period‑end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met with minimal rework
• Prepare schedules and documentation to support internal and external audits, surveys, and compliance requirements
• Utilize ERP systems to research, analyze, and validate accounting data
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation
• Serve as a primary administrator of Foth’s employee ownership program, supporting equity‑related processes from execution through reconciliation
• Manage ownership‑related transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records
• Maintain and administer the ownership system (e.g., Shareworks or similar equity administration platform), including data integrity and required updates
• Support ownership‑related financial reporting, audit requests, valuations, and compliance requirements
• Respond to ownership‑related inquiries from internal stakeholders with professionalism, clarity, and discretion
• Manage multiple priorities independently, applying sound judgment and attention to detail
• Communicate proactively with accounting teammates and cross‑functional stakeholders

Accountant – General Accounting

• Serve as technical lead and engineer-of-record for waterfront, marine, and coastal structural engineering projects nationwide
• Lead the planning, analysis, and design of marine structures
• Perform and oversee coastal analysis, load development, structural modeling, and engineering calculations
• Develop, review, and oversee construction documents
• Maintain working knowledge of regulations and codes affecting waterfront infrastructure
• Proactively identify and help implement new design tools and methods
• Serve as Project Manager on select projects
• Support and manage projects across multiple regions
• Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams
• Develop project work plans, staffing plans, schedules, and budgets

Lead Waterfront Engineer – Project Manager

• Serve as technical lead and engineer-of-record for waterfront, marine, and coastal structural engineering projects nationwide
• Lead the planning, analysis, and design of marine structures including piers, wharves, dolphins, bulkheads, seawalls, revetments, and related infrastructure
• Perform and oversee coastal analysis, load development, structural modeling, and engineering calculations
• Develop, review, and oversee construction documents, including plans, specifications, and technical reports
• Maintain working knowledge of regulations and codes affecting waterfront infrastructure, with familiarity of NYC, NY State, and Northeast permitting environments
• Proactively identify and help implement new design tools, analysis methods, and execution technologies relevant to marine and waterfront engineering
• Serve as Project Manager on select projects, responsible for scope, schedule, budget, and quality
• Support and manage projects across multiple regions, including the Northeast, Southeast, California, and Midwest
• Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams including coastal, geotechnical, civil, environmental, and construction services
• Develop project work plans, staffing plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with discipline leads
• Monitor project performance, financials, and risks throughout project execution
• Support construction-phase services including shop drawing review, RFIs, inspections, and on-site construction support
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers within the waterfront/marine structural discipline
• Support development of standard work practices, design guides, and technical resources for the discipline
• Collaborate with Foth’s Technical Competency Leaders to strengthen firmwide technical excellence
• Lead and participate in technical and client-facing presentations for both national and local audiences
