Provide engineering support for Nuclear Services Group, DOE and Commercial Projects
Most projects are multi-disciplined and require extensive interface with other engineers as well as our clients
Duties include developing design studies, preparing engineering calculations and reports, attending project meetings, performing walkdowns, and mentoring and training junior employees
Other duties include performing reviews of engineering calculations and reports in the areas of deterministic and probabilistic Seismic Hazard Analysis (SHA), site amplification/response analysis, and spectrum compatible acceleration time history development
Travel to project sites, conduct walkdowns of plant structures, systems, and components related to the project work scope
Lead & Inspire Teams: foster a positive, goal-oriented environment with your motivational leadership style, empowering teams to achieve success
Collaborate Across Disciplines: Act as the bridge between engineering teams, ensuring seamless integration and coordination across all project disciplines
Shape Project Success: Develop innovative design studies, define project scopes, prepare or review geotechnical site investigation programs and create accurate engineering estimates to drive project excellence
Master Procurement & Installation: Draft detailed specifications for geotechnical projects, evaluate technical bids, and select top-tier solutions to meet project needs
Think Creatively: Bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to solve complex technical challenges and push projects forward
Be Hands-On in the Field: Travel to project sites, conduct walkdowns downs of plant structures, systems, and components related to the project work scope
Lead & Inspire Teams: Foster a positive, goal-oriented environment with your motivational leadership style, empowering teams to achieve success
