About the role
- Reporting to the Head of Center Operations and Client Services
- Accountability for P&L and KPI’s for assigned Employer Evernorth Workplace Care Health Centers
- Oversee clinical and office staff; manage day-to-day operations, patient services, and client services
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, CPOM prohibitions, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor revenue and operating expenses; manage budget and forecasts
- Develop departmental budgets and 5-year forecasts; identify opportunities to enhance relationships and services
- Partner with EWC Clinical, HR, and Legal; liaise with Account Managers
- Support sales and finalist meetings; represent Evernorth Workplace Care capabilities
- Lead recruiting and retention strategies; mentor staff
- Ensure high-quality patient/employee experiences and continuous improvement
- Travel as needed within region (40-50% typical)
Requirements
- Clinical/Healthcare professional with 5 or more years of Healthcare Management experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or MPH a plus
- At least 3 or more years of experience managing diverse employee groups, including clinical professionals
- Management experience in healthcare delivery is a must, with experience managing health care clinics and/or practices in a retail or private setting
- Experience managing in a profit and loss business environment
- Experience working in a matrix organization with strength in organizational agility and resourcefulness and bias for action and driving solutions
- Strong project management skills
- Strong experience in Client services/client-facing roles with strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to travel as needed to customer sites, often with limited notice; Travel for operational site visits estimated at 40%-50% within the assigned region
- Strong preference for this person to reside in Florida / Southeastern state
