About the role
- Orchestrate governance and operating rhythm for TGO strategy processes (bottom-up planning, AOP cycle, strategy reviews, quarterly forums)
- Design, manage, and improve TGO’s deployment processes, templates, tools, cadence, and tracking mechanisms for milestones, risks, and value realization
- Consolidate and synthesize updates across functions into executive-ready materials, dashboards, and reports to enable leadership visibility and action
- Coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, and other areas; serve as the central node for key projects
- Prioritize, resource, and ensure effective execution across end-to-end value chain; escalate risks and recommend course corrections when milestones are at risk
- Generate executive-ready reports, presentations, scenario planning, and decision-support content and talking points for senior leadership
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and implement continuous improvement and operational excellence practices
- Develop and implement mechanisms to track performance against strategic goals and KPIs; monitor operational metrics and transformation milestones
- Collaborate closely with Finance liaison to align strategy deployment with financial planning and value tracking
- Report to VP/SVP of TGO Strategy, engage regularly with Operations Leadership Team, and oversee a team of ~5
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences or a related field required
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or management consulting (background in Operations preferred)
- Experience with enterprise or functional strategy work in a global environment
- Demonstrated strategic leadership and analytical/problem-solving skills
- Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, and other areas
- Ability to design and manage deployment processes, templates, tools, cadence, and tracking mechanisms
- Financial & business acumen; experience with budgets, business cases, and value tracking
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to create executive-level presentations and reports
- Influencing skills in a matrixed environment and strong interpersonal presence
- Continuous improvement/process optimization experience
- Global mindset and experience collaborating across cultures and time zones
- Willingness to travel up to 25% globally
