About the role
- Manage Technology Credit Union’s loan origination and servicing systems, including regular review and maintenance of business rules and processes
- Elicit business requirements, produce functional designs and implementation plans ensuring no negative downstream impacts
- Consult with users and vendors to develop detailed analysis of user requirements, business specifications, workflows and reporting requirements
- Translate business requirements into system requirements considering business needs and existing technology infrastructure
- Conduct end-to-end testing on applications and technology; develop test cases and ensure business, technical and functional requirements are met
- Document and manage change control processes and articulate functional and non-functional requirements
- Troubleshoot user interface issues and perform root cause analysis with implementable recommendations
- Track system defects and report statuses
- Assist in developing configuration settings for custom workflow and reporting within the loan origination and servicing systems
- Aid in the design of training materials for loan origination and servicing systems
- Configure, communicate and maintain loan origination reporting system
- Maintain consistent communication with other Application Support Analysts and provide backup as needed
- Support regulatory compliance, systems enhancements and business needs through research, analysis and recommended solutions
Requirements
- BS/BA Degree in a related business discipline or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of financial institution experience
- At least 2 years proven experience creating business requirements documents, functional specifications and procedures
- Previous experience as a loan origination system administrator, business analyst or business systems analyst is preferred
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong ability to build and maintain effective business relationships
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to maintain a big picture view while being detail oriented
- Strong ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, independently or with a team
- Solid Microsoft Office and keyboarding skills
- Solid ability to work independently, utilizing tools to find information
- Solid ability to effectively negotiate and arrive at successful solutions with key stakeholder groups
