About the role

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for sales development best practices, processes, and tools.
  • Develop and execute sales development plans to penetrate new markets, industries, and applications.
  • Prospect and contact potential customers via phone, email, or in-person meetings to introduce products or services and schedule follow-up meetings.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, engineering, and ODM teams to develop sales enablement materials, content, and campaigns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives and account teams.
  • Work with technical teams (FAE and Sales Architect) to understand customer product applications and solutions and perform solution selling.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product roadmap, and competitive landscape to provide market insights.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction by ensuring deadlines are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports; assist with Salesforce pipeline entries.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including ODM teams in Taiwan, to meet major customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Familiarity and experience selling or designing with Hyperscale and ODM customers is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Cloud architecture (server, switch, storage, AI, related ICs and protocols).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Background in interconnects, copper cables.
  • 7+ years of key account management experience preferred.
  • Strong Customer focus throughout all levels of management.
  • Ability to engage with Customer Development Engineers and Purchasing.
  • Strong presentation skills, PowerPoint and Excel skill.
  • Persuasive personality required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events. <10% (Travel listed elsewhere as 10%-25%).
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, especially on calls with Asia in the US evening time zone.
