About the role
- Lead audit teams and assume Auditor In Charge responsibilities on assigned audits
- Provide supervision and assignments to team members and review staff work papers
- Draft audit reports and communicate scope, status, and findings to management
- Responsible for time and staffing budgets and planning of audits
- Perform testing procedures for critical audit areas and follow up on findings
- Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and feedback to audit staff
- Update, revise, and improve existing audit procedures and programs
- Participate in or lead special projects and provide consultative interactions with business line management
- Support TD's customer service strategy and model quality service delivery
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required
- 5+ years of related Audit experience required
- Subject matter expert in at least one area of discipline
- Experience leading audits and acting as Auditor In Charge
- Experience planning audits, staffing and time budgeting
- Ability to review work papers and draft audit reports
- Experience performing audit testing procedures for critical areas
- Ability to provide on-the-job training and supervise staff
- Experience supervising findings follow up with management
- Knowledge of audit procedures and programs
