Lead the delivery of multiple efficiency and productivity projects ensuring sustainable and permanent cost savings to the organization
Direct and lead delivery of TD Bank's Smart Efficiency Initiative for process innovation and improvement
Lead efficiency initiatives (end-2-end process reengineering, organizational design improvement, consumption/buying power optimization)
Leverage Lean Six Sigma and project management methodologies to identify and generate sustainable efficiencies and expense reduction opportunities
Deliver improvements in process productivity, cost-to-serve, control/risk, and client satisfaction
Develop and maintain relationships with Executive, Senior, and Business Line Management to influence adoption of TD Bank Process Improvement Methodology
Lead process improvement lifecycle: opportunity identification, business case development, project scoping, work plan development, data gathering and analysis, solution development, change management and cost-benefit estimations
Inspire and drive continuous improvement and provide Process Improvement knowledge to support design and delivery of learning and development programs
Resource key metrics, provide program status reports and presentations to corporate leadership, and conduct stage gate reviews
Leverage trained process improvement employees and cross-functional partners; lead project resources and external contractors/consultants
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (Graduate Degree or progressive work experience also accepted)
7+ Years of related experience leading multiple efficiency-improvement or productivity projects
Strongly prefer Six Sigma Black Belt certification or other related/equivalent experience in TQM, Reengineering, etc
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation/certification a plus
Facilitative Leadership designation/certification or experience
Change Management skill ability experience
Communication Planning and Implementation skill ability experience
Ability to think and plan both strategically and tactically
Proven ability to build strong collaborative business‐to‐business relationships and deliver results through influence
Ability to negotiate resources and time
Successful track record of leading complex projects delivering quantifiable benefits
Well-developed desktop computing skills with emphasis on MS Office products and project management tools
Proven budgeting and fiscal management skills including resource planning, forecasting and estimating
Preferred: Transformation experience in the financial industry; Executive presentation experience; Strong facilitation experience
In lieu of a Bachelor's or Graduate Degree and 7+ years of related experience, TD will consider those with 10+ years of related experience
