About the role
- Plan, manage, and lead the delivery of detailed system requirements and technical/functional specifications in alignment with standards and frameworks
- Provide technical leadership and work in close partnership with business partners, technology, project teams and stakeholders to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate and manage detailed functional specifications
- Define, document, and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications considering non-functional requirements
- Support testing teams in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing
- Participate in scoping and estimating of project efforts, identify risks, recommend mitigation measures, communicate activity status, and escalate issues to Project Manager
- Participate in quality management reviews of designs, prototypes, and other requirements work products
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine solutions, assess impact to existing processes and systems, and manage integration
- Provide operational/process related analysis and support as needed
- Coach and mentor new or less experienced colleagues and act as a reference for the requirements management lifecycle
- Support development of business cases, RFI/RFPs, and vendor/service level agreements consistent with technology requirements/guidelines
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
- 7+ years relevant experience
- Domain knowledge of Accounts, Deposits, Pricing & Liquidity
- Technical and Functional spec
- Agile/Scrum
- API documentation
- Cross-functional teams collaboration
- Expert knowledge of system analysis processes and techniques
- Expert knowledge of systems and applications supported by the team including system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows, and business rules
- Expert knowledge of enterprise technology delivery practices and standards including design, development, testing and project management
- Advanced to Expert understanding of business supported and broader organization
- Experience working independently as a senior or lead system analyst and coaching/guiding less experienced colleagues
