Engineering Manager

• Responsible for people and technology to design, build, deploy and maintain complex integrations across our product suite and with external healthcare systems
• Key contributor to architectural decisions, scalability improvements, and integration strategy
• Manage the team’s daily activities and work toward designated due dates
• Utilize JIRA to track the team’s workload and report out KPI’s regarding performance
• Execute and/or oversee the development of well designed, testable, high quality, efficient Rhapsody integration modules
• Execute and/or oversee the creation of design documents and detailed engineering specifications based on complex business and non-functional requirements
• Partner with the Product Manager to gather requirements and plan and lead development for new interfaces
• Lead the code review process and ensure all code is effectively unit tested prior to QA
• Assist the quality assurance team in identifying test cases and test plans
• Coach team members, lead 1:1s, conduct mid-year and end-of-year performance reviews, and manage PTO/leave approvals
• Act as main resource and communicator of company-wide initiatives and foster team culture
